ABOUT ALEX
Founder of A.M DRUMS STUDIO, Alex Morse has taught drums full time for 6 years at schools & studios across London. Alex custom makes each lesson plan, tailored to suit every students interests and personal goals. Whether that’s smashing out your favourite songs, flying around the kit, making your own beats or learning the grades. Alex’s lessons have you covered.
Alex's students proudly have a 100% exam pass rate from Grade 1 to Grade 8. Alex has experience of teaching students with; Autism, Anxiety, ADHD and learning difficulties. He has a great ability to make students feel calm and settled, which allows for drum development, improvement and enjoyment.
Alex has vast drumming experience having played for bands/artists supporting the likes of James Bay, Royal Blood, Maximo Park, Alabama Shakes, Alt-J, Frank Turner, Klaxons and many more.
Alex has a Batchelor of Arts degree in music from BIMM Brighton, he studied there for 3 years under some of the most influential current musicians.
In 2015 Alex took part in ’21 drums’ lead by Mark Guiliana, Mike Johnston and Robert ‘Sput’ Searight. Over the course of a week in Irelands Grouse Lodge Studio, Alex and 21 other drummers from around the world spent time learning, exploring and developing their drumming and teaching abilities.
